Ask God to eliminate the noise and to speak to your body, mind and soul.

Matthew 22:37-40 NIV

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

1 Cor 13:4-7 ESV

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Am I distracted easily?

What is the fruit from the pace of my life?

Does this line up with who I want to become?


LISTEN

Embrace the silence and fight the urge to speak. Be in the presence of God and listen for his voice.




WRITE IT DOWN

Grab your journal and write down your thoughts and anything God may be speaking to you.

 

DAILY ACTION

Let’s start by keeping things simple. Set a reminder on your phone to take a single, five minute pause somewhere in your day.

That’s it. One five minute pause.

When you engage in your pause, simply close your eyes, breathe, and pay attention to your body as you slow down. Then, thank God for one thing in your life.
