Day Three

Today, let’s ask God what He has to say about your family.

Set aside 20 minutes on your calendar to sit with a few questions. You’ll want this time to be distraction-free, so turn your phone off and focus on being completely present.

Let’s starting by

BREATHING

Take three deep breaths and begin to settle your soul.

When you are ready,

INVITE GOD INTO THIS MOMENT

Ask God to eliminate the noise and to speak to your body, mind, and soul.

SLOWLY READ

Colossians 3:12-15 NIV

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

ASK GOD A FEW QUESTIONS

God, where do I need to grow in love for my family?

God, what would it look like for peace to rule my relationships?

LISTEN

Embrace the silence and fight the urge to speak. Be in the presence of God and listen for his voice.

WRITE IT DOWN

Grab your journal and process what God is saying to you.
